Iran with Russia has officially launched the construction of Bushehr NPP’s second stage – TASS

TEHRAN, November 10. /TASS/. The construction of the second stage of the Bushehr nuclear power plant conducted jointly by Russia has begun in Iran, according to the IRIB broadcaster.

Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi has attended the ceremony.

Rosatom is carrying out the construction project for the second stage of the Bushehr NPP (the second and third power units) containing a total capacity of 2,100 MW in Iran. In May 2018, the state corporation started preparations for pouring concrete at the site.
