Several Democratic presidential hopefuls, including Senators Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris, former vice-president Joe Biden, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg reacted Sunday to news of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s death following a raid by U.S. special forces.
They each commended the teams involved in the raid and U.S. intelligence agencies, but cautioned there was still more to be done in terms of combatting ISIS.
