  1. What went wrong is that Scheer never sold himself or gave a compelling reason why anyone should choose him over Trudeau. He ran a bland campaign . And never capitalized on Trudeau’s gaffes. He’s passive and not a fighter. He needs to go.

  2. Scheer doesn't have the personality, the vision, or the force to lead a major party. He was a huge mistake for leader. He needs to step aside. Surely there is someone. More people voted strategically against Schiff than did so against Trudeau. That says a lot.

  3. In Alberta a 2% cut to the budget is not even close I’d start with 30% and go from there. There are so many useless government jobs. And they still want to raise income tax isn’t that’s great. I’ll be looking to the black market to keep a roof over my head and keep the greedy government out of my life.

  4. Unfortunately for Sheer, he needs to accept that he is the issue at this point. No matter how bad things got for the Liberals, all people could talk about is how unpopular Sheer was. It didn't even matter how criminal the Liberals became… Canada is progressive and nothing less than a progressive conservative will gain any kind've support in the country beyond what he's captured in the conservative base. In a last attempt to save his leadership, Sheer says 'hey I have these super unpopular views, but I won't impose them.' That's really not good enough in this day and age. As a leader, he has to inspire beyond his base. I don't see how that happens. The strategy has to be a) A Reformed Sheer (which people would doubt honestly) or b) A new Conservative Leader. It will be hard for women, and minority groups, to see themselves in Sheer, and it has/will become increasingly difficult for people to see him as a champion of people. With Canada being a majority left leaning country, if Conservatives were smart, they would replace Sheer with a progressive conservative candidate before too long. Otherwise they will lose the window of opportunity, which TBH they might have already.

  5. Is Scheer that smart? Will Alberta have any representation in Ottawa, and now the NDP are strapped to Liberals forcing faster changes to the Carbon Tax! If the man is that short sighted is he really have a chance of being a good leader! On top of that, his actions show his own frustration with himself! He doesn't really think things through before he speaks and he under estimates the intelligence of the Canadian people! This is not like the United States, on the other hand if Ford stays in power in Ontario for 8 years, people might be dumbed down enough!

  6. the individuals that won their seat in this recent election, would not want to entertain any possibility of changing the electoral system!!?
Now that they have their seat of power, they don't want to work for "YOU", they are only interested in working for "THEMSELVES" on 'THEIR OWN BEHALF"!!!

  7. Why does he have to march in a pride parade. The LGBTQ are becoming bullies. I'm a Canadian and I am NOT looking for Sheer to give a reason for not marching in a parade. Really, this is becoming too much! So stupid.

  8. The LGBT are fighting to to able to "do what they want or be who they want" and criticize a leader for "doing what he wants or being who he wants" seems kinda hypocritical to me :S

  9. Andrew Sheer is a conservative. Conservatives don't support the pride parades, or abortion or things that are contrary to the morals given in the Bible. All of a sudden, everyone is supposed to throw out the values that have served us well for this new progressive, clearly from the pit of hell agenda, that is dividing nations and peoples across the globe. Stop and consider it – how things have spiralled out of control ever since the LGBTQ agenda has been seriously pushed into everything.

  10. There were three reasons I didn't vote for Andrew Sheer (I voted PPC) is because he didn't stand and fight for freedom of speech, nor did he seem willing to fight for the freedom of religion, and his stance on immigration was weak. I loved how Maxime Bernier had a clear plan for those three things along and many others.

  11. Why should he walk in the pride parade? And be told to leave, and to be told he is only there for political gain, to be called a fake and a hypocrit….AT LEAST HE DOESN'T LIE and PRETEND, like everyone else…….All those leaders, marching, pretending and cheering……IS THIS WHAT the pre-requisite is now, TO MARCH in the Pride parade and to be pro-choice, otherwise, YOU ARE CASTED ASIDE….PLLLLEASSSE………..Plus what is this pride parade? who the f….cares? seriously……Trudeau IS A LIAR AND A FAKE AND A HYPOCRIT …..NOT SHEER….HE WoN THE POPULAR VOTE across canada….That says alot….Im so discusted that, that LIAR trudeau was voted back. LIBERAL VOTERS ARE so stupid, …..they want to be lied to…what a joke….

  12. Waaawww why wouldn’t u just say yes ?
I voted for u but just seeing this , it’s not even about the votes from the gay community! It’s all the other people who have gay friends !
They too lose interest in voting for u !
All you had to do is march such a progressive idea which even majority of conservatives support! Was there anyone with a brain to advice u !
    That’s why you lost !
But now we can’t be a sore loser , u have to commit to marching , than we can start working for better deals for Alberta ,
After all u represent the whole west of Canada !
All u have to do is grow some b$&@“ and lead
Alberta , after all we are all Canadians and even tho I voted for Alberta , I think u need to get with times

  13. If he still respects everyone regardless of his values, what’s the problem? He’s being honest about his values and I find that very courageous, especially in the world we are in today.
